I took a run up to LA to the Disney Center early one morning. This structure catches the light in amazing ways.
Mikah works with me as a model in many of the classes I teach. She was kind enough to work with me to test a couple of new lenses. All images were made with available light.
I became interested in photography in third grade when I was given a “Dick Tracy” film camera. I was enchanted with the ability to capture a moment in time on paper. Portraits were always my favorite subject. Even today, the major portion of my work involves Portraiture. I still do commercial work as well as some architectural imaging.
I also love teaching people how to create images using lighting techniques that give the subject a unique look. These lighting techniques that have been utilized by master painters of old and photographers of the 1930’s and 1940’s provide images that often appear three dimensional and make you say “Wow”.
